For Parents of Children with special needs , getting organized support in India or relevant material to read is the most difficult thing (in the age of Google!). Apart from getting medical support everything is a chaos from choosing therapist to equipment.
So we decided to research what is available and help other parents through our experience. Having been a part of the pharmaceutical industry for over 15 years we certainly understand the condition, doctors and the tools required. Also having travelled to 2 continents in search of any possible experimental therapy we share our knowledge to all. Most importantly having survived happily through a decade old marriage we feel compelled to share our perspective of being a parent of a child with special needs. We share that through our blogs, our guest interviews, product reviews, how-to tips and a soon to be published book. We aim to build a strongly networked and integrated community of parents with special needs that talk and help each other and can advocate our children’s cause and help build them a better inclusive world through us but only by realizing that Yes! i am Special
When Me and My Wife discovered our child was Special we immersed ourselves in finding a solution . But we found out that getting organized support in India or relevant material to read was the most difficult thing . We were so engrossed for years in finding the right therapy for our kid that it consumed our entire time and we realized we had drifted in our relationship, lost our social circle and ability to be happy. Worry had gripped us.
So we decided to help ourselves first and in the process discovered a way to help all others like us. We share that way through our blogs, seminars and a soon to be published book. Before we can help our children it is the parents that need sometimes to be told -Yes! i am Special
